This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.

The Petitioner is a defaulting borrower of a Cash Credit facility availed for a sum of Rs.1.00 lakh from UCO Bank, Bagdia Branch, Bagdia in the district of Angul on 28th February, 2007. A term loan for sum of Rs.27,000/- was also availed on 29th May, 2009. Due to non-servicing of the Cash Credit account, both the accounts were declared NPA on 31st December, 2012 leading to the recovery process under the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 be initiated. 3.

By filing the present writ petition, challenge has been laid to the auction sale notice dated 27th May, 2022 (Annexure-6), whereby the auction sale of the mortgaged property was fixed for 27th June, 2022 for recovery of the outstanding liability of more than Rs.3.00 lakhs. 4.

At the time of hearing today, counsel for the Petitioner submits that the present writ petition has become infructuous in

// 2 // view of the loan accounts having been closed on payment of settlement amount.

Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
