1. Learned counsel appearing for the Opposite Party No.2 confirms that the parties have settled their disputes and they do not want to proceed with the FIR originally filed against the Petitioner, which was registered on 8th March, 1995. The matter is clearly stale and does not survive.

2. In that view of the matter, the order dated 10th November, 1996 of the J.M.F.C., Nimapara in G.R. Case No.151 of 1995 arising out of Kakatpur P.S. Case No.19 of 1995 and the aforementioned criminal case are hereby quashed. The petition is disposed of. The interim order is hereby vacated.

3. The Superintendent of the concerned Branch is directed to immediately communicate this order to the concerned Subordinate Court.
