None appears for the petitioner at the time of call. 3.

The petitioner by this application U/S. 482 of Cr.P.C seeks to quash the criminal proceeding in C.T. Case No. 1135 of 2015 arising out of Balasore Town P.S. Case No. 117(7) dated 11.06.2015 for commission of offences U/Ss. 363/365/366(A) of I.P.C. but no stay has been granted from further proceeding in this case and in the meantime, seven years have already elapsed. This Court, therefore, entertains a reasonable doubt as to whether the cause of action for the present petitioner still survives.

In view of such development in the matter, the CRLMC is dismissed for non-prosecution.
