This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement (virtual/physical mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as learned counsel for the State.

The Writ Petition has been filed by the Petitioner with the following prayer:

"It is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to;

i) Admit and allow the Writ Petition of the Petitioner and issue notice to the Opp.

Parties;

ii) After hearing the parties, direction may be issued to the Opp. Parties to release the retirement benefits of the Petitioner such as gratuity, leave salary and security deposit money within stipulated time;

iii) The Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue direction to the Opp. Party Nos.4 & 5 for releasing gratuity, leave salary and security

// 2 // amount with interest @ 10% per annum in favour of Petitioner from the date of his retirement to the date of payment;

AND iv) To pass such other orders / directions as deem fit and proper.

And for this act of kindness the Petitioner shall remain duty bound ever pray."

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that ventilating his grievance, Petitioner has filed a representation before the, Registrar Co-operative Societies, Odisha, Heads of Department Building 7th floor, Bhubaneswar, Opposite Party No.2, dated 01.06.2022 under Annexure-9, which according to the Petitioner is pending before the Authority for consideration.

Considering the limited nature of grievance and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the Registrar Co-operative Societies, Odisha, Heads of Department Building, 7th floor, Bhubaneswar, Opposite Party No.2 to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 01.06.2022 (Annexure-9) within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, strictly in accordance with law by passing a speaking and reasoned order. Decision so taken be communicated to the Petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
