This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

The petitioner is an accused in connection with C.T. Case No. 570 of 2021 arising out of Khuntuni P.S. Case No. 171 of 2021, pending on the file of the learned S.D.J.M., Athagarh for the alleged commission of offence under Sections-379/411/201/34 of the I.P.C.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s. 439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Addl. Sessions Judge, Athagarh by Order dtd. 18.06.2022 in BLAPL No. 179 of 2022, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Counsel for the State.

Taking into account the nature of allegation and in view of filing of the Charge-Sheet, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms and conditions to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter with the additional stipulation that the petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional Police Station once a week till conclusion of the trial, first date of such appearance to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter. Any violation of the conditions shall entail cancellation of the bail application.
