01. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No (Virtual/Physical) Mode.
2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the Opposite Parties.
3. The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- "It is therefore, prayed that your Lordship's may be graciously pleased to admit this Writ application, issue notice to the opp. Parties and upon hearing be pleased to issue Writ in the nature of mandamus or any other writ or appropriate order/orders directing the opp. Parties to consider the representation vide Annexure-11 as per the Finance Department Office Memorandum Order dated.4.12.1999 vide Annexure-5 and as per the ratio decided in W.P.(C) No. 10716/2007 vide Annxure-8 and protect the pay of the petitioner from the date of his joining in the Govt. Service and to draw and disburse the differential salary to the petitioner as soon as possible;
And/or pass any other writ(s), order(s), direction(s) this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation on 07.01.2022 at Annexure-11 to the Writ Petition before the O.P. No.2, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, learned counsel for the Petitioner prays that a direction be issued to Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the Petitioner.
