This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Additional Standing Counsel. Perused the records. 3.

This is an application under Section 438 Cr.P.C. filed by the Petitioner for anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the alleged amount of Rs.40,000/- was paid in absence of regular Nazir, Abhimanyu Bhuyan, who was acting as Assistant Nazir puts signature in the copy of the money receipt.

Considering the nature of allegations made, gravity of the offence and the fact of the case, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the Petitioner. It is directed that in the event the Petitioner is arrested by the Arresting Officer in connection with in Nandipada P.S.Case No.137 of 2022 corresponding to G.R.Case No.231 of 2022

// 2 // of the file of the learned J.M.F.C., Hatadihi, he shall be released on bail on such terms and conditions as would be deemed just and proper. It is further directed that the Petitioner shall cooperate with the investigation as and when required by the Investigating Officer while on bail.
