Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The Petitioner is an accused in connection with T.R. Case No.57 of 2021 arising out of Sunabedha P.S. Case No. 86 of 2021 on the file of learned Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Koraput, registered for the alleged commission of offence under Section 20(b)(ii)(C)/29 of the NDPS Act.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s 439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Koraput by order dated 20.06.2022, the present BLAPL has been filed 5.
Considering the quantity of contraband seized and the role ascribed to the petitioner as borne from the recitals in the Case Diary, this Court is not inclined to entertain this bail application at this stage in view of the bar under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, the bail application accordingly stands rejected.

It shall be open to the petitioner to move this Court at a later stage after examination of material witnesses, if so advised. ( V.Narasingh ) Judge Dhal
