Ms. Pati, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioners and submits, impugned is award dated 11th January, 2022 passed by the Permanent Lok Adalat (PLA) on insurance claim made by opposite party. She submits, the policy provided for total sum insured at Rs.5,25,000/- (Rupees five lakh twenty-five thousand only). By impugned award there was direction for payment of Rs.5,51,316/-(Rupees five lakh fifty-one thousand three hundred sixteen only) along with interest, compensation of Rs.2,00,000/-(Rupees two lakhs only) and litigation expenses of Rs.6000/- (Rupees six thousand only). Her instructions are, in event opposite party accepts Rs.5,25,000/- (Rupees five lakh twenty-five thousand only), her client will not prosecute challenge in the writ petition. 2.
Mr. Dash, learned advocate appears on behalf of opposite party and submits, his client will accept Rs.5,25,000/-/-(Rupees five lakh twenty-five
thousand only) along with interest as directed by impugned award. 3.
Petitioners will pay Rs.5,25,000/-/-(Rupees five lakh twenty-five thousand only) along with interest as directed in impugned award. On the payment made they will be entitled to obtain acknowledgement from opposite party for due execution, discharge and satisfaction of the award. 4.
The writ petition is disposed of.
