Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 17.03.2022 in connection with Bhawanipatna Town P.S. Case No. 125 of 2022 corresponding to C.T. Case No. 354 of 2022 pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Bhawanipatna for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 420/294/506 of IPC 4.
It is alleged that the petitioner took money from the informant in installment in total amounting to Rs.70,000/- on the pretext of arranging a job for him. The occurrence took place in 2015. The FIR was lodged in the year 2022. There is no explanation for such inordinate delay.

Considering the above facts, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the Court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the following
condition.:- i. He shall appear before the IIC of Bhawanipatna Town police station on every Sunday at 10.00 a.m. till conclusion of trial and such fact shall be certified by the IIC to the concerned court once every fortnight. 6.
The BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
