This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

The present writ application has been filed by the Petitioner with the following prayer:

" The Petitioner, therefore prays that Your Lordship would graciously be pleased to issue rule Nisi calling upon the Opposite Parties to show cause as to why writ/direction will not be issued, directing to the Opposite Parties No.1 and 3 to consideration the representation dated 04.01.2022 filed by the Petitioner vide Annexure-4.

And Your Lordship may kindly direct the Opposite Parties to do the needful or pass any writ/s, order/s as think deemed fit and proper.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that ventilating his grievance, the Petitioner has filed a detailed representation before the Member, Board of Revenue, Odisha, Cuttack-cum-Chairman Selection Committee for Promotion & Selection of Officers for Orissa Revenue Service, Opposite Party

// 2 // No.2 Secretary to Government, Agriculture & Farmers Empowerment Department, Opposite Party No.3 on 04.01.2022 under Annexure-4. It is also submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the said representation is pending without consideration as of now. He also submits that a direction may be given to the Opposite Party No.3 to consider the representation of the Petitioner within a stipulated time.

Learned Additional Standing Counsel on the other hand submits that he has no objection if the representation of the Petitioner is considered by the Opposite Party No.3, which is stated to be pending, within a stipulated period of time in accordance with law. 6.

Considering the limited nature of grievance of the Petitioner, the writ application is disposed of at the stage of admission with a direction to the Opposite Party no.3 to consider the representation of the Petitioner in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. The Opposite Party No.3 shall do well to dispose of the representation of the Petitioner by passing a speaking and reasoned order. The decision so taken on the representation of the Petitioner, shall be communicated to the Petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ application stands disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy as per Rules.
