The petitioner is an accused in connection with 2(b) C.C. No. 4 of 2022 arising out of O.R. No. 13B of 2022-23, pending on the file of the learned J.M.F.C., Badamba for the alleged commission of offence under Sections-9 & 52 of the Wild Life (protection) Act, 1972.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s. 439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Athagarh by Order dtd. 21.06.2022 in BLAPL No. 184 of 2022, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Counsel for the State.

Taking into account the nature of allegation, the period of custody and the social status of the petitioner, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms and conditions to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter. 6.

The Bail Application thus stands disposed of. 7.
