This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

The Petitioner is an accused in connection with T.R. Case No. 95 of 2020 arising out of Jeypore Sadar P.S. Case No. 241 of 2020 on the file of learned Addl. Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Jeypore, registered for the alleged commission of offence under Section 20(b)(ii)(C) of the NDPS Act.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s 439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Addl. Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Jeypore, by order dated 18.05.2022, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Since trial has commenced, this Court is not inclined to entertain this bail application and also taking into account that the release of the petitioner at this stage will affect the ongoing trial.

Hence, the BLAPL stands rejected.
