Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

The Petitioner is an accused in connection with G.R. Case No. 1145 of 2022 arising out of Golanthora P.S. Case No. 183 of 2022 on the file of learned SDJM, Berhampur, Ganjam, registered for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 272/273 read with Sec.52(a) of the Ordisha Excise Act. 4.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s 439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Addl. Sessions Judge, LR & LTV, Berhampur, Ganjam, by order dated 22.06.2022, the present BLAPL has been filed. The petitioner is stated to be in custody since1.06.2022.

Taking into account the nature of allegation and period of custody, this Court directs the petitioner shall be released on bail

on such terms to be fixed by the learned court in seisin over the matter.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
