This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in T.R. Case No.43 of 2022, on the files of learned Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Koraput, arising out of Padwa P.S. Case No.38 of 2022, under Sections 20(b)(ii)B of the NDPS Act and is in custody since 22.04.2022.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Koraput, by order dated 20.06.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Taking into account the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is a lady and has a four year old child, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail. The learned Court in seisin over the matter to fix the terms including one of the sureties should be the local person. 6.
Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
