Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 02.05.2022 in connection with Itamati P.S. Case No.88 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No.248 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Nayagarh for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 302/34 of IPC. 4.

Considering the nature of accusations and the availability of materials prima facie in support thereof, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore, rejected. It is open to the petitioner to renew his prayer after examination of Nalini Jena, Sunil Kumar Jena and Srabani Jena during trial.
