None appears for the petitioners at the time of call. 3.

The petitioners by way of this application U/S. 482 of Cr.P.C seek to quash the F.I.R. in connection with Dhenkanal Sadar P.S. Case No. 99 of 2016 and the criminal proceeding i.e. G.R. Case No. 317 of 2016 pending before the learned S.D.J.M., Dhenkanal but no stay has been granted from proceeding further in this case and in the meantime, six years have already elapsed. This Court, therefore, entertains a reasonable doubt as to whether the cause of action still survives for the petitioner.

In view of such development in the matter, the CRLMC is dismissed.
