Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is working as Anganwadi Helper in Chanchol Anganwadi Centre under Bangalpur Grama Panchayat under the administrative control of the Child Development Project Officer, Garadapur (O.P.No.5) in the district of Kendrapara. Her grievance is that though she is a graduate and eligible for consideration for promotion as Anganwadi Worker, her case is being not considered for promotion as Anganwadi Worker, whereas similarly circumstanced Anganwadi Helpers have been promoted to the rank of Anganwadi Worker.

Ventilating her grievance, the petitioner has preferred representation to the Child Development Project Officer, Garadapur (O.P.No.5) on 12.04.2022,

Taking note of the limited grievance of the petitioner, , this Court directs the Child Development Project Officer, Garadapur (O.P.No.5) to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Anganwadi Worker within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of certified copy of this order. 6.

To facilitate such consideration the petitioner may also produce the copy of writ petition along with certified copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. 8.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted as per rules.
