Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) Direct the Opp. Parties particularly the Collector, Nayagarh (opp. party No.2) to release the salary from January, 2019 to April 2019, from January 2020 to January 2021, increment and Grade Pay from 2014 to till date and arrears relating to seventh pay fixation within a stipulated period of time as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court".

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation on 29.10.2021 under Annexure-5 to the Writ Petition before the opposite party No.2 but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to
// 2 // opposite party no.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
