1.This matter is taken up by Hybrid mode.

2. This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the Petitioner to discharge him from the charge in connection with Special Case No.167 of 2015 arising out of Basta P.S. Case No.144 of 2015 pending in the court of learned Special Judge, Balasore on the ground of delay in disposal of the case.

3. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that he does not want to press this petition but submits that a direction may be issued to the learned Special Judge, Balasore to dispose of Special Case No.167 of 2015 within a stipulated time.

4. Considering the facts and the submissions made, this Court disposes of the Criminal Misc. Case with a direction to the learned Special Judge, Balasore to dispose of Special Case No.167 of 2015, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
