This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw this bail application.

Taking note of submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that, he is in custody since 29.10.2020 and that there has been no substantial progress in the trial, this Court directs the learned Court in seisin over the matter to expedite the same and conclude the Trial, preferably within a period of six months after receipt/production of the certified copy of this Order.

It shall be open to the petitioner to move this Court, in the event, the trial is not concluded within the time fixed and the delay is not attributable to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the bail application is disposed of as withdrawn with such liberty.
