This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Standing Counsel. Perused the records. 3.

This is an application under Section 438 Cr.P.C. filed by the petitioners for anticipatory bail.

The petitioner is an accused in Spl. G.R Case No.9 of 2022 on the file of learned Additional Sessions Judge-cum-POCSO Court, Jagatsinghpur registered under Section 376(3)/294/506, I.P.C. read with Section 4 of the POCSO Act.

Learned counsel on behalf of the State placed the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164, Cr.P.C. before the Court. 6.

Considering the alleged nature of offences, I am not inclined to extent the benefit of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the bail application stands rejected. Jagabandhu ( A.K. Mohapatra) Judge
