Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 25.05.2022 in connection with Harichandanpur P.S. Case No.41 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No.327 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Keonjhar for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 498-A/302/304-B/34 of IPC.

The petitioner is the aunt-in-law of the deceased, who is said to have committed suicide. From the materials on record, it appears that the allegations have been leveled against the petitioner in an omnibus manner. It is stated that because of illtreatment by the petitioner and her husband, the deceased and her husband were staying in Kerala and after their return, she was again subjected to ill-treatment, for which she committed suicide. 5.

Since the allegations are more or less in general terms without any specific act being attributed to the petitioner, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court in seisin over

the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that he shall personally appear before the trial Court on each date of posting of the case without fail. 6.

BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
