Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) The Petitioner therefore, humbly prays that the Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to issue Rule Nisi calling upon the opposite parties to show cause as to why the Opp. Parties shall not be directed to forthwith issue an order of regularization of the service of the Petitioner retrospectively under General Health Care as regular Staff Nurse with effect from 27.12.2008 as provided to Opposite Party No.5, who is similarly situated employee (Staff Nurse) pursuant to the office order bearing Order No.17299/Balasore dated 29.11.2019 (Annexure-11) and if the opposite parties fail to show sufficient cause, make the rule absolute".

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation on 02.04.2022 under Annexure-14-Series to the Writ Petition before the opposite party No.4 but

// 2 // till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party no.4 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.4 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
