This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement (virtual/physical mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as learned counsel for the State.

The Writ Petition has been filed by the Petitioner with the following prayer:

"In the above facts and circumstance, it is most humbly and respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to admit the writ petition, issue notice to the Opp. Parties and after hearing the parties, this Hon'ble Court may further be pleased to direct the Opp. Party No-1 to consider his case to reinstate the petitioner in his former post of Odisha Revenue Service as because he had been duly selected and appointed as ORS Officer from 17.07.2020 to 08.07.2021 under the jurisdictional Area of Collector & DM, Ganjam district in view of the Govt. of Odisha, Revenue & Disaster Management Department Notification No-22445/R & DM, dated 13.07.2020 and got training for the ORS Service from the Govt. of Odisha and during his Odisha Revenue Service period he

// 2 // was working as a front line warriors in Covid-19 pandemic in Ganjam District.

Or in alternate to direct the OP No-1 to consider & dispose of the representation dated 21.03.2022 of the petitioner within a stipulated time bound period. And, may pass any other order/orders as may deem fit and proper;

And, for this act of kindness, the petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray."

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that ventilating his grievance Petitioner has filed a representation before the Principal Secretary, Revenue & Disaster Management Department, Odisha, Bhubaneswar, Opposite Party No.1, dated 21.03.2022 under Annexure-14, which according to the Petitioner is pending before the Authority for consideration.

Considering the limited nature of grievance and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the Principal Secretary, Revenue & Disaster Management Department, Odisha, Bhubaneswar , Opposite Party No.1 to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 21.03.2022 (Annexure-14) within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, strictly in accordance with law by passing a speaking and reasoned order. Decision so taken be communicated to the Petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
