CORAM:

THE CHIEF JUSTICE JUSTICE CHITTARANJAN DASH Order No.

ORDER

24.08.2022 18.

1. These are the two writ petitions raising the issue of how the Hot Spring located in the Nilakantha Prasad village should be named. While the Petitioners in W.P.(C) PIL No.16645 of 2017 want the name to remain as "Tarabalo Hot Spring" the Petitioners in W.P.(C) No.19235 of 2016 want it to be changed to 'Nilakandar Hot Spring'.

2. These are not issues which should be entertained in a PIL by the High Court as this is a decision for the Government to take on the basis of the exigencies and local factors which the Government is in the best position to assess.

3. Consequently, the Court would not like to entertain these writ petitions and they are accordingly disposed of. (Dr. S. Muralidhar) Chief Justice (Chittaranjan Dash) Judge S. Behera
