Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The Petitioner is in custody since 04.01.2022 in connection with Chhendipada P.S. Case No. 30 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 45 of 2022 pending in the court of learned J.M.F.C., Cheendipada for the alleged commission of the offence under Sections 302/506/201/34 of IPC.

Considering the severity of the allegations and existence of material prima facie in support thereof, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore, rejected. 5.

It is open to the petitioner to renew his prayer after

examination of the informant during trial.

It is submitted by Mr. Das that the petitioner may be released on interim bail for some time in order to arrange treatment of his ailing wife.

Such being the case, it shall be open to the petitioner to make a prayer for interim bail before the court below who shall consider the same and pass necessary order.

The BLAPL is accordingly rejected.
