This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in G.R. Case No.209 of 2022, on the files of learned J.M.F.C., Ranpur, arising out of Chandpur P.S. Case No.74 of 2022, for commission of offences under Sections 379/34 of IPC read with Section 11(1)(d) of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Sessions Judge, Nayagarh, by order dated 28.06.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Taking into account the nature of allegations and the period of custody, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the Court in seisin of the matter. 6.
Additionally, it is directed that the petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional Police Station once in a week till filing of final form.
7.
Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
8.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted as per the rules.
