Heard Mr. B. Tripathy, learned counsel on behalf of Mr. A. Pattnaik, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D. Nayak, learned Additional Government Advocate.

According to Mr. Tripathy, the petitioner, who happens to be the informant in Balianta P.S. Case No.303 dated 21.09.2021 registered for commissioner of offences under Sections 147/ 341/323/294/506/354/509/307/379/149 of I.P.C is aggrieved by the tardy manner in which investigation is being done in connection with the said case.

During course of hearing, Mr. Tripathy submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to approach the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar (opposite party No.3) for redressal of her grievances by filing a grievance petition and the said opposite party be directed to take a decision on such motion within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court

// 2 // grants liberty to the petitioner to file a grievance petition before opposite party No.3 through registered post within a period of two weeks from today. In the event, such a petition is filed along with a copy of this order, the opposite party No.3 is directed to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of such grievance petition and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
