This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

This is an application under Section 438, Cr.P.C. filed by the Petitioners for anticipatory bail, involving offences punishable under Sections 147/148/341/294/342/447/506/187/337/149, I.P.C. and Section 7 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act.

Perused the copy of the F.I.R. It is stated by learned counsel for the Petitioner that the co-accused persons have been released on bail by this Court.

However, considering the seriousness and gravity of the allegations and the fact that the Petitioner is a lady, though this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the Petitioner, however it is observed that, in the event the Petitioner surrenders before the

// 2 // learned J.M.F.C., Chilika in G.R. Case No.43 of 2012 corresponding to Tangi P.S. Case No.9 of 2012 within a period of three weeks from today, the Petitioner shall be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the learned Magistrate may deem just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

The ABLAPL is disposed of accordingly.
