This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

None appears for the petitioners at the time of call, so also no one had appeared on behalf of the petitioner when the matter was taken up on 24.06.2016 and 29.09.2022.

The petitioner by way of this application U/S. 482 of Cr.P.C. seeks to quash the notice U/S. 41-A of Cr.P.C. issued on 14.03.2016 by the I.O in this case but no stay has been granted from proceeding further in the matter and in the meantime, around six years have already passed from the date of issuance of the notice. In view of the above facts, this Court reasonably entertains a doubt as to whether the cause of action still survives for the petitioners in this case.
