1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.
2. Heard.
3. In this writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the illgal and arbitrary transfer order dated 10.06.2022 passed by the District Education Officer, Mayurbhanj, Baripada.
4. The grievance of the petitioner is that while he was working as Junior Assistant in the office of the Block Education Officer, Suliapada, the District Education Officer, vide its Office order dated 10th June 2022 transferred him to the office of the Block Education Officer, Baripada which is in violation of the Notification No.1N-II-2018: 19480, dated 18.09.2020. It is pertinent to mention here that the petitioner has only completed one year in his present working place. Further, as per High School Notification of the Government, any incumbency employee who serves at least six years before his
// 2 // transfer unless there is some extreme administration exigency arise. But, in the instant case, the petitioner has been transferred after one year of his joining in Suliapada. In such view of the matter, he has made representation to the Director of Secondary Education, Odisha, Bhubaneswar on 12.06.2022 seeking cancellation of his transfer order dated 10th June, 2022.

Considering the limited grievance of the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, disposes of the writ petition directing the opposite party No.1 to dispose of the representation vide Annexure-5 by passing a reasoned order, especially, in the light of Annexure4 within a period of one month from the date of production of authenticated/ certified copy of this order by the petitioner.
6. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
