Heard learned counsel for Petitioner and learned counsel for the Union of India-Opposite Parties.

The present Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) This Hon'ble Court may be graciously pleased to issue an order quashing the order issued by the Opp.Party No.1 dated 29.03.2022 under Annexure-18, declaring the same as illegal, arbitrary & a product of mala fides. (ii) And further be pleased to direct the Opp.Party Nos.1 and 2 to circulate the list of office bearers submitted on 02.11.2020 for the year 2020-2023, approved by the Opp.Party No.4 on 09.11.2020 and assented by the All India OBC Railway Employees Federation, New Delhi under Annexure-12 in consonance with the Railway Boards instruction dated 13.10.2017 vide Annexure-7".

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation on
// 2 // 30.06.2022 at Annexure-19 to the Writ Petition, before the opposite party No.1 but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period. 5.
Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law and also taking into account the order passed under Annexure-7 within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
