Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) Directing the Opp. Party No.1 to consider and dispose of the representation dated 10.11.2021 vide Annexure-7 submitted by the Petitioner for appointment under the Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme in the post of his father Late Kulamani Choudhury in the Office of the Cuttack Municipal Corporation, Cuttack, which was applied by the petitioner on 08.06.2018 vide Annexure3-Series within a stipulated time, which determined by this Hon'ble Court".

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed an appeal on 10.11.2021 at Annexure-7 to the Writ Petition before the opposite party No.1 but till date nothing

// 2 // has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party no.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
