This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in G.R. Case No.355 of 2022 arising out of Belpada P.S. Case No.89 of 2022 pending in the file of learned S.D.J.M., Patnagarh, under Sections 272/274/275/120-B of the IPC.

Being aggrieved by the Rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional Sessions Judge Patnagarh, by order dated 22.06.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Taking into account that the contraband contained in the cough syrup and the tablets seized is less than the commercial quantity, which is not disputed by the learned counsel for the State and on going through the material record, this Court directs the

petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the Court in seisin over the matter.

Taking into account the criminal proclivity of the petitioner, this Court directs the petitioner to appear before the jurisdictional police station once every two weeks till conclusion of the trial and certification of such appearance shall be submitted to the learned Court in seisin over the matter.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
