Heard Mr. B. Tripathy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D.K. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 2.
According to Mr. Tripathy, the petitioner is aggrieved by the manner in which investigation is going on in connection with Saheed Nagar P.S. Case No.202 of 2022 registered for commission of offences under Sections 341/323/294/379/ 506/34 of I.P.C. During course of hearing, he submits that though highlighting all his grievances, the petitioner has approached the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar (opposite party No.2) by filing a grievance petition vide Annexure-2 through speed post on 18.06.2022, however, till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar to take a decision on the grievance petition of the petitioner within a specific time period. 3.
Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court
// 2 // directs the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar to take a decision on the grievance petition of the petitioner under Annexure-2 in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if in the meantime, the same has not been disposed of and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 4.
Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
