This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The Petitioner is an accused in connection with Padampur P.S. Case No. 13 of 2021 corresponding to T.R. Case No. 26 of 2021 pending on the file of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Gunupur, for the alleged commission of offence under Section 20(b)(ii)(c) of the NDPS Act. 4.
Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s 439 Cr. P.C. by the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Gunupur by order dated 24.05.2021, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Taking into account the submission at the Bar that the trial has commenced and keeping in view the quantity of contraband seized to the tune of 386 Kgs., this Court is not inclined to entertain this bail application at this stage.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands rejected 7.
Learned trial court is called upon to expedite and conclude the trial within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of the certified copy of this order. (V.Narasingh) Judge Dhal
