1. The Petitioners, Assistant Sub-Inspectors of Police, being not considered for undergoing medical test for the purpose of undertaking training course for Sub-Inspector of Police in terms of letter dated 16.11.2017, filed this writ petition.
2. At the time of hearing Mr. Sidharth Sankar Mallick, proxy counsel on behalf of Mr. A. Mishra, learned counsel for the Petitioners submitted that he does not have up-to-date instruction in the matter.
3. This matter relates to 2017, and keeping the matter pending would not serve any fruitful purpose.
4. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of reserving liberty to the Petitioners to revive the writ petition within a period of 60 days, if cause of action still subsists.
