Heard Mr. Satapathy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 2.
According to Mr. Satapathy, the petitioner is aggrieved by the tardy manner in which investigation is going on in connection with Bhubaneswar Mahila P.S. Case No.111 of 2021 registered for commission of offences under Sections 498-A, 323, 294, 506/34 of the I.P.C. read with Section 4 of the D.P.Act. He further submits that though highlighting all her grievances the petitioner has approached the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar (opposite party No.2) by sending grievance petition dated 24.5.2022 under Annexure-3 through registered post on 26.5.2022 but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.2 to take a decision on the grievance petition under Annexure-3 within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without
// 2 // expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar (opposite party No.2) to take a decision on the said grievance petition in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 4.
Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of the order be granted on proper application.
