This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in connection with T.R. Case No. 48 of 2022 arising out of Koraput Sadar P.S. 67 of 2022, pending on the file of the learned Addl. Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Koraput for the alleged commission of offence under Section- 20(b)(ii)(B) of the N.D.P.S. Act. 4.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s. 439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Addl. Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Koraput by Order dtd. 24.06.2022 in T.R. Case No. 48 of 2022, the present BLAPL has been filed. 5.

Taking into account that the seizure of the contraband (Ganja) to the tune of 18 Kgs 130 grams from the petitioner less

than commercial quantity and release of the co-accused, as submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail, on such terms and conditions to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter including the additional stipulation that the petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional Police Station once every week till submission of Final Form. The first date and time shall be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter. 6.

It is needless to state that violation of any conditions relating to appearance shall entail cancellation of bail. 7.

The Bail Application thus stands disposed of. 8.
