ORDER

Order No.

26.07.2022 2.

1.

This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2.

The Petitioner in this writ petition prays for the following relief:

"

In the above circumstances the Petitioner humbly prays that Your Lordship may be graciously pleased to issue a: Writ of certiorari calling for the records relating to order dated 29.09.2019, vide Letter No.10346 of Government of Odisha, and quash the same as illegal. And/or issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent no-1, to issue permit for the cutting and removal of the trees mentioned in Annexure-4, standing in the property comprised the land in Mouza-Kumuli, of TahasilBorigumma, under Khata No.211/747 of Plot No.94/1300, Area A0.900 decimal stand in the name of the petitioner, within a stipulated period. And/or may pass such other order/s as Your Lordship may deem fit and proper. And the petitioner as in duty bound, shall ever pray." 3.

The grievance of the Petitioner in this writ petition is with regard to refusal of his prayer for removal of Sal tree from his recorded land. It also appears that the Petitioner does not challenge the order of removal of Sal tree vide Letter No.2490

// 2 // dated 8th May, 2020 (Annexure-1) passed by the Divisional Forest Officer, Jeypore Forest Division, Jeypore. 4.

In that view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition.

5.

Accordingly, this writ petition being devoid of any merit stands dismissed.
