Heard Mr. L. Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. A. Das, learned Counsel appearing for the National Highways Authority of India and Mr. S.S. Pradhan, learned Additional Government Advocate.

On instruction Mr. Das submits that, the quantum of compensation which has been determined in favour of the petitioner in connection with L.A. Case No. 12 of 2022 is Rs.5,00,883/-. He further submits that in case the petitioner is not satisfied with the said quantum, he can move the appropriate authority under Sub-Section-5 of Section-3(G) of the National Highways Act, 1956.

In such background, Mr. Mishra does not want to proceed further in the matter.

With such submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of as not pressed.

We hope and trust that in future while inviting the citizens to receive the compensation for acquisition of their land, the NHAI Authority shall do well to indicate the quantum of compensation in such notice.
6.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted as per rules.
