This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in G.R. Case No.253 of 2020, committed to S.T. Case No.31 of 2021, on the files of learned Additional Sessions Judge, Aska, arising out of Hinjili P.S. Case No.460 of 2020, under Sections 450/376(2)(1) of the IPC and is in custody since 26.12.2020.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the Learned court of the Additional Sessions Judge, Aska, Ganjam, by order dated 01.07.2021 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Perused the Medical Examination report and the 164 Cr.P.C. Statement of the victim and the certificate appended thereto by the learned Court regarding such statement. Taking into account the materials on record, this Court is not inclined to entertain the petitioner for bail. The same stands rejected. 6.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands rejected.
