This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in Special G.R. Case No.08 of 2021, on the files of learned Additional Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Bhanjanagar, arising out Badagada P.S. Case No.61 of 2021, under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C) of the NDPS Act and is in custody since 10.03.2021.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Bhanjanagar, by order dated 22.03.2021 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed. 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner does not want to press this application at this stage. However, seeks a direction to expedite the trial.

Learned trial Court is requested to make an endeavor to conclude the trial within a period of four months from the date of production of copy of this order. In the event trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period, it is open for the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted as per rules.
