Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner.

This Writ Petition involves a challenge to the notice dated 25.6.2022 asking the Petitioner to vacate the shop premises as well as the quarters involved therein.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner through the pleading submits that there is no irregularity at all, and therefore, the notice becomes illegal. Learned counsel for the Petitioner draws the attention of this Court to Annexure-10, i.e., reply of the Petitioner filed pursuant to Annexure-9, which appears to have been received by the Competent Authority.

Be that as it may, since the Petitioner has raised his objection on the entertainability of the notice of cancellation under Annexure1, for the opinion of this Court, it is better for the Authority issuing such cancellation notice to consider the request of the Petitioner in

// 2 // the event the Petitioner submits a detailed representation before O.P.2 making out the reasons at least within a period of seven days from today, in which event the same shall be considered and disposed of involving the Petitioner at least within a period of six weeks thereafter. In the event the Petitioner is not evicted as of now, status quo in respect of the property shall be maintained by both the parties for eight weeks.
