1. The present petition was registered on the basis of a letter, received way back in 2015, by the Petitioner apprehending demolition of the houses consequent upon the acquisition of land by the Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd.. No interim order has been passed till date. Due to passage of time, there ought to have been further developments which have not been brought on record before the Court.

2. Learned Amicus Curiae has also brought before the Court as far as the Land Acquisition Act of 2013 is concerned and the decision of Supreme Court of India in Indore Development Authority v. Manoharlal.
