Heard Mr. D.P.Dhal, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner and Mrs. Tripathy, learned Counsel for the Vigilance Department.

The petitioner is an accused in connection with VGR Case No. 08 of 2022 arising out of Balasore Vigilance P.S. 16 of 2022, pending on the file of the learned Special Judge, Vigilance, Balasore for the alleged commission of offence under Sections13(2) read with Section 13(1)(b)/12 of P.C. (Amendment) Act. 4.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s. 439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Special Judge, Vigilance, Balasore by Order dtd. 27.06.2022 in VGR No. 08 of 2022, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Taking note of submission of the learned Senior Counsel that the accusation is more or less based on documentary evidence and the petitioner being in custody since 25.06.2022, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail, on such terms and conditions to be fixed by the learned Special Judge. 6.

It is needless to state that the petitioner shall cooperate with the investigation and shall appear as and when directed by the Investigating Agency before the Investigating Officer on the date and time so fixed.

It shall be open to the Vigilance Authority to move this Court in the event, the petitioner does not extend the desired cooperation.

The Bail Application thus stands disposed of. 9.
