01. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No (Virtual/Physical) Mode.

2. Heard Mr. Mohanty , learned counsel for the Petitioner, Mr. A.P. Das, learned ASC, learned counsel for the Opposite Parties and Mr. S.K. Patra, learned counsel on behalf of O.P. No. 4.

3. The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- " The Petitioner therefore prays that in the facts and circumstances stated above this Hon'ble Court may be graciously pleased to admit the writ Petition, issue notice to the Opp. Parties, call for the records from the Opposite Parties if necessary and after hearing the parties to this writ Petition, this Hon'ble Court may be graciously be pleased to issue an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus or any other writ directing the Opposite Parties to appoint the Petitioner in the post of Homeopathic Medical Officer in the Group-B rank of the State under Health & Family Welfare Department by exchange of reservation between the Schedule Castes and Scheduled Tribes in view of Section 6 of the Orissa Reservation of Vacancies in Posts and Services (For Schedule Castes & Schedule Tribes) Act, 1975 for the ends of justice.

// 2 // And may pass such other order/direction as this Hon'ble Court may think fir and proper in favour of the Petitioner. And for this act of kindness, the petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray."

Learned counsel for the Petitioner further submits that through highlighting her grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation on 23.02.2022 at Annexure-6 to the Writ Petition before the O.P. No.1, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, learned counsel for the Petitioner prays that a direction be issued to Opposite Party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs Opposite Party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of one (1) month from the date of receipt of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the Petitioner.
