Heard Mr. D.K. Sahoo, learned counsel on behalf of Mr. S.K. Mohanty, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D.K. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 2.
According to Mr. Sahoo, the petitioner has filed this application for a direction to the I.I.C., Daspalla Police Station (opposite party no.4) to register the complaint vide ICC Case No.54 of 2020 forwarded by the learned J.M.F.C., Daspalla under Section 156(3) of the Cr.P.C. by order dated 6.11.2020. He also submits that although the complaint being forwarded under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C. by the court below has been received by the opposite party no.4, however, no further action has been taken at his end. He further submits that the complaint once received by the opposite party no.4 from the court being forwarded under Section 156(3) of the Cr.P.C., he is under legal obligation to deal with the same in accordance with law and proceed further in the matter in finally submitting a report to the concerned court.

Considering the submissions made, the present
// 2 // application is disposed of with an observation that in the event, the opposite party no.4 has received the complaint being forwarded by the learned J.M.F.C., Daspalla under Section 156(3) of the Cr.P.C. vide order dated 6.11.2020 passed in ICC Case No.54 of 2020, he would do well to take all such effective steps as provided in law in the matter of investigation and complete the same as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law.

The CRLMP is accordingly disposed of.
