Mr. M. Balabantaray, learned Standing Counsel for the State contended that since the petitioner seeks for quashing of the rejection of the application of the applicant to the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil) pursuant to the advertisement made in the year 2006, by efflux of time, the writ petition has become infructuous.

In view of the above, the writ petition stands disposed of as infructuous.
